Nursery Gift: an Altered Match Box

To celebrate my friend’s early pregnancy I created a little gift for her. I found the perfect matchbox in one of our craft stores, already white so there was no need to paint it.

Bacause the match box was already white, I wanted a paper with lots of white, of a color that would suit both a boy and a girl, and was still soft enough for a baby theme. I chose You Are My Happy by Teresa Collins, and altered the match box. The top is decorated with “2016” in die-cut numbers, for my friend will be pregnant for the larger part of this year. Of course I filled the box with the cutest gift: perfect little baby socks in matching colors! 🙂

Colorful Summer Birthday Card

Today I’m sharing a short video with you of a card I decorated mainly with leftover scraps. I always find it amazing how much design paper real estate you can still pull from your scraps, and I always enjoy sharing my inspiration with you all to not throw away your scraps too easily 😉

This time I used the leftovers from my Springtime Dreams keepsake album, created with papers by Webster’s Pages, using their collection called Nest. The larger flowers are by Prima Marketing.

Four Seasons Sturdy Folio Album

Hi guys, I’m very happy to present my latest design: a very sturdio folio album, which I’ve therefore dubbed Sturdio 🙂 .

It consists of three accordion-fold page assemblies, rolled into one neat mini album. This one’s theme is the Four Seasons, since I used Graphic 45’s beautiful floral calendar collection Time to Flourish. I kept the months in their proper order, thereby creating three trimesters for one entire year of pictures.

I was completely in the Zone when I designed and created this, which is why I haven’t been able to write a tutorial. I promise I will write one this year, and thank you for your patience, for it will take me creating a second one of these sturdios.
