Hippo Birdy wallet tutorial (only one sheet of paper!)

Here’s a quick tutorial for creating a fun little birthday wallet.

I keep coming back to this design because it looks great, it’s easy to make and takes only one sheet of 12×12 inch double-sided scrapbookpaper. So I thought I’d share this with you and show you how to make it! 🙂

If you want some more inspiration, click the links below for my other versions.

Dutch language version available as well this time (without the tutorial):

Paper walkthrough: Flora & Fauna by K&Company

This is truly a very lovely paper that reminds me of a walk through the park in spring with lots of grass and flowers, trees and birds – and their little eggs! I know it’s autumn now, but with gray, wet skies covering the Netherlands I like to think ahead and picture next year’s spring in my mind! 🙂

As its name suggests, its theme is all flowers, plants, birds and butterflies, although it also has one sheet of music & poetry – couldn’t tell you why for the life of me, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. Maybe there’s someone reading poetry in that park, accompanied by someone playing a soothing melody on the piano…..

No more flowers, butterflies, bows and blings; away with pink, red and summer brightness – for here’s a great paper for creating cards and other projects for guys! 🙂

Paper walkthrough: DCWV’s Serenity

As a nice contrast to Bo Bunny’s design paper by the same name, I’m showing you a Serenity paper again – but this time by DCWV!

Could the differences have been any greater? Color, style, theme, texture, you name it!

The design stacks do have one thing in common though: they are both gorgeous! 🙂

Paper walkthrough: Bo Bunny’s Serenity

Meet Bo Bunny’s gorgeous Asian themed design paper collection “Serenity”! It has black as its base color, building from that in dark red, aquamarine, khaki and olive green. I’m showing you the 12×12 inch (30×30 cm) collection pack, I later bought the 6×6 inch paper pad as well. Can’t wait to start a project with this one! 🙂

Paper walkthrough: K&Company’s “Olive Tree”

Today I’d like to show you Olive Tree by K&Company, a 12×12 inch (30×30 cm) design paper stack in beautiful “woody” colors. Mostly brown and beige, with green and red accents. Probably not for everyone, but if you’re in the market for something different and sophisticated, this might be just the stack for you!

Paper walkthrough: Romance Novel by Prima

Ah, this gorgeous gorgeous design stack is such a delight that I’m hesitant to even use it! Perhaps I’ll simply stare at it for a couple of minutes a day…

Edit April 10th, 2013: As it turns out, this design stack is also available in A4 size. I don’t think it’ll come as a very big surprise that I immediately bought that too as soon as I heard of its existence… 😉

Paper walkthrough: Nature – design & specialty stacks by K&Company

Walking you through these lovely design & specialty paper stacks by K&Company.

To save some time and – hopefully – keep it interesting, I fast-forwarded several video segments. Although this did indeed speed up the process, it also seems to have increased some of the instability in the video – My apologies!

Paper walkthrough: K&Company “Ancestry”

I’d had my eye on this one for a while before I bought it – and when it finally was a couple of days on sale I made sure to make the most of it: I bought not one but two sheets of each gorgeous design. This way I won’t have to choose between using either the front or the back sides: I can simply use them all! 🙂

Enjoy another one of my Paper Walkthroughs!
