Time to Celebrate Cards & Paper Walkthrough

I love the gorgeous spring greens and salmon pinks of Graphic 45’s Time to Celebrate!
That is why today I’m sharing two cards I created with it, after walking you through the papers and embellishments of this collection.

It is the perfect card making stack!
Because several sheets display more than one festive occasion at once, coming up with projects that are not cards turns out to be a bit of a challenge for me though, for I usually have one specific occasion or purpose in mind. But, that’s a puzzle I’ll (very happily) solve at a later time!

For now I’m very happy to say: enjoy the video and the pictures below! 🙂

Haul video & paper walkthrough: Stationer’s Desk by Prima

Stationer’s Desk is very vintage, very romantic, perfect for keeping those particularly precious memories. It reminds me somewhat of Romance Novel, one of their older collections. Stationer’s Desk is one of Prima Marketing’s latest however – and I did quite the shopping spree with this one. 🙂

So here’s my haul video – and stay tuned for the large keepsake album I’ve created with this collection, which I’ll post coming July!

Paper walkthrough: Once Upon a Time II

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of my design paper walkthroughs to help you decide whether you like a certain stack enough to buy it or not. So, here’s one! 🙂

It’s DCWV’s dreamy fairytale paper stack called Once Upon a Time 2 – not to be mistaken for part 1 of course ;-). I think this second issue was meant as some sort of a “soft relaunch” or something. It’s the only explanation I can think of for them copying several sheets from part 1 into this second part.

Fortunately, it’s gorgeous anyway 🙂

Five Christmas paper stacks (walkthrough)

Here’s five lovely Christmas paper stacks, a demo to inspire your Christmas holiday crafting wish list :-). (You will be able to watch yet a sixth – My Mind’s Eye’s Holly Jolly paper pad – when I’ll post my Christmas card video, probably next week).

So, enjoy your holiday shopping in your local craft store or on the interwebs!

The paper collections shown in this video are:

  • Tis the Season (Kaisercraft)
  • Kris Kringle (S.E.I.)
  • Christmas Day (Carta Bella)
  • Waiting for Santa (Webster’s Pages)
  • North Country (Prima Marketing)

Plus two separate 12×12 sheets:

  • Glistening labels & tags (Authentique)
  • Infuse (Basic Grey)

Paper walkthrough: Flora & Fauna by K&Company

This is truly a very lovely paper that reminds me of a walk through the park in spring with lots of grass and flowers, trees and birds – and their little eggs! I know it’s autumn now, but with gray, wet skies covering the Netherlands I like to think ahead and picture next year’s spring in my mind! 🙂

As its name suggests, its theme is all flowers, plants, birds and butterflies, although it also has one sheet of music & poetry – couldn’t tell you why for the life of me, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. Maybe there’s someone reading poetry in that park, accompanied by someone playing a soothing melody on the piano…..

Paper walkthrough: Madeline (Prima)

Here’s another lovely design paper stack by Prima Marketing: it’s called Madeline and has a floral theme in teal, green, wine red and brown. I started modestly with only the 6×6 inch paper pad, but that didn’t last very long… 😉

Anyway, here’s the two-minute video – click here if you can’t see it.

Paper walkthrough: Romantic Nursery

Here’s a super lovely baby design paper stack, created by Eline Pellinkhof with Marianne Design, a Dutch designer. It’s A5, which makes it a little bit bigger than the usual 15×15 inch paper pads.

Paper walkthrough: A Proper Gentleman (Graphic 45)

No more flowers, butterflies, bows and blings; away with pink, red and summer brightness – for here’s a great paper for creating cards and other projects for guys! 🙂

Check out my paper demo in the 2 minute video below.

Paper walkthrough: DCWV’s Serenity

As a nice contrast to Bo Bunny’s design paper by the same name, I’m showing you a Serenity paper again – but this time by DCWV!

Could the differences have been any greater? Color, style, theme, texture, you name it!

The design stacks do have one thing in common though: they are both gorgeous! 🙂

DCWV - Serenity 4

Paper walkthrough: Bo Bunny’s Serenity

Meet Bo Bunny’s gorgeous Asian themed design paper collection “Serenity”! It has black as its base color, building from that in dark red, aquamarine, khaki and olive green. I’m showing you the 12×12 inch (30×30 cm) collection pack, I later bought the 6×6 inch paper pad as well. Can’t wait to start a project with this one! 🙂

Music: Ishikare Lore by Kevin MacLeod.

Paper walkthrough: Uptown Flair – The Paper Studio

I’ve fallen in love with the bright spring & summer colors of this 12×12 inch (30×30 cm) design paper. Its patterns remind me of the seventies, giving it a “retro” feel despite its bright-colored contrasts. And almost every sheet turned out to have glitter sprinkled all over it – how I love that!

Can’t wait to use it in scrapping projects (what else is new 😉 ).

Paper walkthrough: K&Company’s “Olive Tree”

Today I’d like to show you Olive Tree by K&Company, a 12×12 inch (30×30 cm) design paper stack in beautiful “woody” colors. Mostly brown and beige, with green and red accents. Probably not for everyone, but if you’re in the market for something different and sophisticated, this might be just the stack for you!
